Our History

In 2004 Cory McDade formed a 100% woman owned small business to provide accounting and bookkeeping services to companies in need of outsourcing their financial work.  In 2006, Cory added Dane Pascoe, who brought a background in corporate communications. In 2007, the company moved in a significant new direction when it applied for and won a contract with Contra Costa County (California) to provide marketing and business development services for a local shopping center. The success of that project led to a much larger contract, requiring additional resources. That experience prompted the company to assemble an ad hoc team of local business professionals from various fields who are available to perform work as needed, on a contract basis.  In this way, The Outsource Resource has positioned itself to provide a much greater range of services, and, as importantly, to take on much larger projects.
